Money can’t buy you class.

What it means to be classy?

Money and designer brands have little to nothing to do with what it means to be classy, or elegant. Money can’t buy you class.

money can't buy you class

This should not be news to anyone; after all, all you need to do is to tune in to one of reality series to study -how not to behave if you want to be Classy Girl.

And these women are considered rich, many dress well, and they are of course beautiful.

But these things mean little when you see how they behave. I have honestly never met anyone who behaves like that, and I hope I will never have to.
Dressing well and elegantly can help to emphasize one’s elegance, of course.
But if you could be classy simply by dressing a certain way, or having a specific amount of money on your bank account, then yes, life would be easier.

You would only have to get what you want (assuming of course you would want money and expensive clothing) and you would have class.
In order to be classy you will have to change your character rather than your exterior situation or appearance. I believe that education and intelligence are some key factors to being classy, as well as being humble, authentic, working on your self-worth, being kind, having manners, and things like these.

To have or show class is about having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful.

In some way I think that people who are not willing to invest in having high standards of personal behavior want to create an illusion of having class by applying what is visually associated with class (a certain style of clothing, a certain brand, money and so on).

This is a cheap way out as it is harder to behave accordingly than look the part.
So be yourself and cherish your own style and class!
Stay classy ♥
